WIRED Magazine Article

This project aimed to redesign a feature article and magazine cover design for Wired magazine. The layout has to adhere to Wired’s typographic standards, while the photos and other aspects of the article were up to my discretion. The challenge was trying to come up with photos and other elements that had a consistent feel throughout. It was challenging to develop components such as page numbers and page breaks that are all different while still looking cohesive. I chose to unify the article by applying a consistent color scheme and varied aspects such as white space, and accent typography to start the beginning of new sections. My design adds value by making the article visually engaging while still getting the main points across to the readers.
